    Hi,

Thanks for this plugin. Trying it out and liking most of what I see.

Whilst trying out an upgrade to Woocommerce 3.0.0 on my test server I noticed that the drop-down menus do not appear in the (woocommerce) admin pages and appear as text boxes. In addition, the “product details” fields are not clickable.
When I disable this plugin the above work.. Tried to re-install and I got the following error :

“The plugin generated 255 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

    Theme : Storevilla.

Not particularly urgent for me since I can afford to wait a bit.
However wanted to log this (also for the benefit of others potentially hitting the same problem, or considering Woocommerce upgrade).

This user seems to have a very similar problem to mine :

    Best regards & thanks.

  • Hi,
same here, dropdown are broken in Woocommerce settings page for example.
I think the problem is OpenTickets loads older select2 plugin.
Since woocommerce 3.0 they are switching to select2 version 4.
Can you switch and update your as well?
    Big thanks in advance

Yes, 3.0 is a big change in data. Good thing you tested on stage right?!

We are working on new versions for 3.0. Just letting you know.

Great you are working on version for 3.0,
meanwhile it would be nice if you could release quick patched version with newer select2 library.
    Thanks

Yeah, it’s not that simple though. It’s not a ‘quick patch’, this is a refactoring. It’s much more than just a select2.

We have our revisions in QA. In the meantime, just don’t upgrade to 3.0 on live.

    Thanks for replying.

@quadshot. Good to know that you are working on it. Look forward. ??

    (Thanks for confirming @jarzabjacek)

unfortunately I updated woocommerce on a live site & Opentickets is now broken for me.

Any estimate when a update for opentickets might get released?

issues I have found so far is,
    – error viewing tickets
    – error viewing reports
    – when I listed a new event in new products — it appeared in shop like a regular item. I went on to list the event – hid the item from the shop by setting it as a draft. which allows it to show as a regular event.

    thank you!

quick follow up.. I noticed earlier today that there was a Opentickets community edition plugin update.. so I went ahead & updated to the newest woocommerce ver 3 and then updated the Opentickets plugin.

So far it seems like everything is functioning properly. I can view tickets & reports.

Thank you for the quick attention to this matter!

The WC 3.0 Compatible OT Community Release deployed this morning. You should be all set now.

    Hi @quadshot, others,

Yes. Updated on the test site and appears to be okay.

    Many thanks! ??

It does work on woocommerce 3, except the [upcoming-events] shortcode has stopped working. No output at all. Can you guys take a look at that?

same problem here… thank god I updated only on staging.

(Update: when I disable the plugin Subscriptions purchased through WooCommerce, the dropdowns work again. Wow, their own plugin is the reason for the conflict.)
