Yes it works if you use it as the only shipping method.

So far, the option to prioritize or sort shipping methods has disappeared in WC 2.6. If you use the new shipping zone (for example to add “local pick-up”), then, “local pick-up” will be selected has the default shipping method. This is not what I want.

This plug-in must be updated to become part of the shipping methods included with the shipping zone, somehow.

I bought the premium version of the plugin and the behavior is the same. But, with the premium version, I can add several shipping methods, including standard mail and express mail. Now, I have to add a third one, for example local pick-up or free shipping, etc.

So, for both the free and the paid version, it works, provided it is the only and sole shipping method used.

After few tests, I can’t add a free local pick-up to the premium version. Because it is free, it is always selected by default. I can’t change this order.
    I am stuck.

Hi Bonaldi, I have been testing both oik-weightcountry-shipping and oik-weightcountry-shipping-pro with WooCommerce 2.6.2.

Both appear to work but they do both require enhancements to work natively with Shipping Zones. I have raised some Issues on the GitHub repositories.

https://github.com/bobbingwide/oik-weightcountry-shipping/issues/8 for the version available from www.remarpro.com.

Since Weight/Country shipping does not work in the new way, its rates appear at the end of the table.

It seems that the newer version of Woocommerce selects by default the cheapest method, ignoring any manual order. The former method was better regarding this issue.
Perhaps you will have to rewrite your plugin, letting WC to set up the zones, and we fill in, inside each of these zones, the shipping fields in text format as usual. So that we can add other shipping method, and all shipping methods and shipping plugins will work together.
Today, OIK Shipping can only be used alone in WC.

I’m working on a replacement, oik-weight-zone-shipping, which will integrate with WooCommerce 2.6 and above.

According to the documentation for WooCommerce 2.6 at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/

when the shipping method is integrated with shipping zones,

the default shipping method selected for customers will be the top listed, enabled shipping method in the zone which they match

The new plugin, integrated with WooCommerce’s Shipping zones is now available from the oik-plugins website.

The free version, oik-weight-zone-shipping v0.0.1, supports setting of a single rate per weight range.

For multiple rates per weight range either create multiple shipping methods or use the premium version.

About new version plugin: oik weight zone shipping

Seemes to works only if at the fist position.

FYI, I don’t have this behavior with the premium version. All shipping methods are displayed and conform to their selected positions.
