Woocommerce 2.6 / Superstore not displaying categories on Shop Page Display

    So installed WC2.6 and pretty much got the same as others that have posted gripes about the weird grid arrangements of category or product thumbnails.

    Anyhows tried a few things with categories and still got weird column/row layouts. So gave up with the intention of rolling back to WC2.5, etc. This morning Superstore 1.2.12 had just been released, with notes about corrections for the prod/cat issues. Great, installed and now I have a corker of a problem. I cannot display Categories on the Shop Page Display. Had a look through all the other issues which note CRON updates, loops (for other themes), etc and to no avail.

    Any idea’s how solving one problem creates another, and what is the best solution other than moving onto a non woo theme.

    Turned out it was woothemes brands plugin which caused the problem. Unfortunately I’ve had to disable BRANDS to get around it.
