    Hi,

    As soon as we activate the Yoast plugin checkout takes too much time (all other functions search, add to cart, browsing are working fine) and order is not being placed.

    Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    We understand that there is an issue where Checkout fails to complete when Yoast is active on the site. We know resolving this issue is important. We would like some more information to help us troubleshoot.

    1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    2. If you check for JavaScript errors do any appear on that checkout page? They would appear in red in the console. Can you describe them or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors please use this guide https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/.

    You can use a tool like: https://imgbb.com/ to share the image.

    3. Does clearing your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider.     Thanks for sharing the relevant screenshot with us. We are afraid to say the relevant screenshot actually doesn’t show much. In this case, we’d like you to please perform a full conflict check by following the steps given before to see whether it helps us to identify the exact root cause of the issue. You’ll need to switch the theme and disable all the 3rd party plugins. You can find the relevant step-by-step guide provided above.

    Thanks for your kind response.
    As suggested i have performed a full conflict check using Site Health Plugin keeping
    all other 3rd party plugins deactivated and just WooCommerce (because issue is related to checkout) and Yoast activated. Theme set to default theme. Issue is still there.
    really looking for a quick response as it is damaging our ranking seriously.

    We are sorry to hear that you’re still having trouble with our plugin. Due to the nature of the issue, we’ll need to take a look at your setup. However, we are unable to do it here as this is a public forum.

    So, if you have an active Yoast SEO Premium subscription or if you can consider buying one, we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately through email.

    However, if you don’t wish to get the Yoast SEO Premium subscription, that’s completely fine. In this case, you’ll need to troubleshoot the issue further on your setup as we are literally out of any clue at this moment without taking a look at the setup. So, someone from the community might step forward as well who has experienced or familiar with the issue.
