    Good afternoon,

    I set up the option for customers to pay via Google Pay, but when I tried to test this earlier the order didn’t submit. Please can someone confirm why this might be. Do I need to change something in the configuration?

  • Hi, awakenwithinwithadele, I’m another WooCommerce user.

    What do you exactly mean by “the order didn’t submit”?

    Did an error appear on the page preventing the order from completing, the order did complete but is not showing up from within the backend, etc?

    Hi Ian, thanks for your comment.

    No error appeared, but nothing happened when I pressed the pay button this morning. Although when I try now it is asking for delivery information, which it didn’t need this morning and is saying the delivery details are invalid when I select my home address. There is nothing to ship as such, so no delivery information is required.

    Very odd, I am hoping there is a known issue and it will be resolved in the morning. ??

    Could you please let us know which payment gateway did you use to enable Google payments?

    Also, please share a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi,

    I used Stripe, I assume this is the payment Gateway. I tried to purchase a ticket for an event this morning and it appears to have worked.

    However I notice the G Pay link under the product page will error when completed due to asking for a delivery address, which is not required for the product. It doesn’t ask for a delivery address under the cart or checkout page. I have for now unticked for the G Pay link to appear under the product page so customers will not receive the error. Is this a known issue?
