woocomercerce install delete my sidebar

  • Hello,

    when I have installed woocomerce in a page, the sidebar has been removed, i try it editing with the main sidebar widgets and with woosidebar plugin but i couldnt get it. My theme is “Retrotale” theme. I need help seriously.

    WooCommmerce just uses the default Page Template.

    Make sure your sidebar is being used in the default page template (check under Page Attributes => Template on a page that works to see which template it is using)

    Thanks for the answer, now i get to show the main sidebar in the shop page, but i want use a diferent sidebar for the products. I am using “sidebar manager light” plugin in other pages and it is working very good, i have differents sidebars in differents pages.

    Now the problem is that when i use this plugin in the shop page (where i have installed woocommerce) it doesn`t work in this page. Maybe is a compatibility problem, can i solve that with any code or something?

    I think (not 100%) that the shop and products page use the same template.

    The challenge is that WooCommerce uses the default page template and then just loads it’s content into the page body section – it doesn’t control the page layout.

    Some themes provide theme options to configure sidebars but I’m not sure you can achieve what you want.

    I recommend contacting the WooCommerce forums as they will be able to tell you categorically.
