    Hi all,

I’ve just started with a clean install of woocommerce and the official woocommerce stripe plugin.

When I go to checkout, I can’t put in any credit card information. The according input fields are not being displayed.

This WAS working in test mode, and I could input the plugin’s suggested credit card dummy data fine.

    • active theme: 2017
    • active plugins: WooCommerce, WooCommerce Stripe Gateway
    • ALL other plugins disabled
    • stripe public and secret live key entered

I haven’t spotted anything in the CSS that might cause this.

Any advice on where to look or who to ask? I think I’ve broken down the site to its most basic elements.

    Hi there!

Just to reconfirm that I’m understanding correctly, you’re having trouble entering your credit card details on your store with the following setup?

    active theme: 2017
active plugins: WooCommerce, WooCommerce Stripe Gateway
    ALL other plugins disabled
stripe public and secret live key entered

Since Stripe is not a built-in payment option that comes with WooCommerce, for further troubleshooting, please create a new topic under Support ? Plugin: WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway with the following details:

    1. Please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    2. Also confirm that you’ve followed the instructions in Stripe – Documentation to configure the extension

I’ll mark this topic as solved for now. Please feel free to open a new topic if you have any other questions specific to core WooCommerce features.

Edit: I see you’ve already done that

Thank you, Aashik! I’ll get back to you on the other topic. ??

My company just had this same issue yesterday. After finding and deleting the script for MailChimp, our issue went away and allowed credit card input again. You can usually fint this particular script tag within the head.php of the theme you’re using. The MailChimp script was causing a Cookie error (visible in the console), and preventing the Stripe CC inputs to load correctly. Let me know if I can be of more help!

Thank you, Nate! We resolved it yesterday, but differently (I had forgotten to set the URL in the staging site’s wordpress to https – that fixed it).

I will keep the mailchimp thing in mind for later, I’m still in the process of switching all the plugins back on, I know there are a couple more conflicts ahead to resolve ??
