When updating WooCommerce, it disables other plugins. So far it seems to disable Advanced Flat Rate Shipping For WooCommerce, WooCommerce Address Book, and PI WooCommerce order date time and type.

This seems to have started since the rollout of 4.x The affected plugins are compatible with Woo 4.x. Not sure why this intrusive behavior is happening.

    Hi @west-bay-web,

I’ve performed some cross-testing for us today on several of my sites which have the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and our free Storefront theme as the only enabled software. When doing so, I’ve not been able to replicate the behaviour which you describe with the free WooCommerce plugin deactivating other plugins during updating.

WooCommerce also has no code included within it which will deactivate other activated plugins during an update. From what you describe, the results of our cross-testing and lack of similar reports from other users it seems something other than WooCommerce is potentially causing this behaviour on your particular WordPress site.

Thanks for looking into this. I’ll scour the logs and see what I can determine on my clients sites.
