Woo Themes 'Spectrum' – blank space above and below header.

Just installed ‘Spectrum’ but when I insert my header, there’s an annoying bar of empty space above and below it.

The spaces seem to disappear if I use the ‘text only’ header but I’d prefer to use a custom one. Any ideas on a fix? I’m sure it’s in the code somewhere but I have no idea where to look…
