If I understand correctly after you updated Stripe from 6.4.3 to 6.5.0 or 6.5.1 you were unable to process payments using your card reader, right?

To understand the issue better, can you please share some additional details?

– Could you share a copy of your site’s System Status Report with us? You’ll find it at the top of the page under WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support (after you scroll down a bit). Paste the result here in your reply.

– Can you please let us know which card reader you are using?

– Can you please check if there are any recent fatal errors related to Stripe or any other plugin under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. If there are can you please paste them here in your reply? Please redact if it has any sensitive information

I’m using the Wise POS E card reader. I can’t get any error logs and the system status wouldn’t be helpful because I had to put it back to the old version to keep the business running. I found another post with the same issues and someone said they are aware of the problem and to keep an eye out for an update to fix it. I’ll try again with the next update.

Can you please share with us what issue are you referring to here? Is it related to the Github thread here? Or, is it related to the Wise POS E card reader?

So we have tried both 6.5.0 and 6.5.1 and it still does not work. Status report is below, but we currently have 6.4.3 installed. We are a running business so I can only do testing with this in the late evening. To reiterate, if we update the plugin we can no longer connect to the Point of sale for Woocommerce plugin. We have random disconnects throughout the day that requires us to restart the terminal and the POS window to get the reader to work again. Happens several times per day at random times.
