I was able to replicate the issue as well. This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. thank you for the clear explanation. The conflict test showed it has to do with the divi theme. I have asked the Divi support centre if they can fix it.

There is nothing I can do myself now, right?

At this stage, I would suggest waiting for a solution from the Divi support.

If you do not find a solution from them, you can contact any developer locally or reach out to the WooExperts and they will be able to help you in this regard.

For others who might have this issue:

The incompatibility of the theme was with the Jetpack Lazy Loading function. I disabled this and the problem was solved. A divi developer tried to fix the bug on their part but this didn’t work.

Now I use the lazyloading function of Litespeed Cache and this doesn’t give any issues with the Divi theme.
