Woo is showing shipping info and other personal details to multiple customers

    Hi, I’ve gotten mulltiple reports from customers that when they visited my site, they could see someone else’s name address and other important information.

    It looks like when customers check out, their personal info gets stored and shared to the next visitor on the site, which is crazy and never happened before.

    I can’t recreate the issue, but I’ve heard from 3 people so far this morning and confirmed they are seeing other customer’s info.

    I’m on WP 6.1.1 using Woocommerce 7.4.1.

    I’m still unable to recreate this issue, but I’ve confirmed it’s still happening to the users who reported it earlier. When they visit the site it still shows other people’s info.

    Two of the users said they encounter the issue on iOS, but not on Chrome on their laptops.

    I understand that your customers are seeing the previous customers’ information upon checkout, however, you are unable to reproduce the issue, correct?

    As a first step, it would be best to interview these customers who experienced the issue and ask them the steps they did and the tools they used so that you could replicate the exact scenario on your end. Like, as what browser they used, did they checkout on mobile or desktop PC, what payment gateways were used, what products were ordered, etc. From there, we could start our investigation since you were unable to replicate the scenario.

    Another suggestion would be to check these customers orders if there are any patterns or similarities: products ordered, payment gateway used, category, location, etc.

    Meanwhile, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
