    Hi there!

In tips section you’re mentioning: “You can disable automatic attributes on individual images by adding the following class:?woo-image-seo-skip

How can we do this? Can you recommend a way to proceed? Our case is the following: we’re having one certain photo that is added to all product galleries. We would like to disable the auto-alt by adding the class. How can this be done?

Also, do you plan on addressing the issue that the plugin does not generate alt texts for gallery thumbnails (Woocommerce) and for variable products variation image (also Woo).

Otherwise great plugin with simple yet useful features. Keep up the good work!

    Hi Jack,

    Thanks for reaching out.
The proper way of adding the woo-image-seo-skip class differs depending on the active theme, plugins, etc.
In your case, it sounds like the special photo in question is being added to all galleries programmatically.
If that’s true, then the skip class could probably be added by editing the custom code responsible for the special image.

As for addressing the other mentioned issue, this is again somehow unique for every website.
I’m usually testing the Woo Image SEO plugin on a website with the Divi builder.
On that setup, the alt tags seem to be added to all thumbnails and variation images.

In order to give more personalized support, please try using the contact form on the plugin’s settings page.
My options in this forum are very limited as everything we share is public and ultimately I can’t ask for any specifics on your issue.

    Thanks,
    Danail
