    Hey Woo

Filters in woo are no longer working. Going to a category displays all products, going to an attribute displays all, going to a tag displays all products.

Price Range filter block seems to work. I have tried to remove this block after adding it to see if there was a conflict, but that did not fix it. That means my woo displays all products always except price range….

    Any help is appreciated thx.

It it possible you have a redirect somewhere that interferes? I see URLs have a cache buster on them.

    hey Gal

thx for your reply. I will need more specific assistance to sort this.

I have Litespeed cache installed. Are you saying my cache is obstructing the filters from working? I am travelling these days, but I will test with cache turned off when I am back.

Do you have the insight to point me more specifically to What function in a cache would cause this issue.

i am a bit confused about this, Thats all

as I understand it, the Numbers in the URL are added by Woo since geolocate is active.

it messes with my SEO but Geo is required to auto calculate vat based on location. So … now the vat calc is also broken. That might also fall back to cache….?

finally I have random categories displayed here and there. Random is also broken. Assumably due to cache settings.

i have tried to alter cache setting, but I simply cannot figure out What is causing this.

Litespeed cache claims their cache is flawless! So not much help there

    Seems to be working now.

on the contrary. If I go to underwater category anything shows. If I go to portraiture anything shows, so no not working

Please provide the exact steps to see/recreate this problem.

    Thread Starter hebhansen

    (@hebhansen)

    Example:

Attribute – Orange has 4 products tag’ed as it indicates below title “Orange” showing all 4 results. However, all products unfiltered are displayed.

I have disabled Lighspeed cache and problem remains.

I have disabled hide woo bloat and problem remains.

No filters are working except price range. Also drop down filter sort by …… is not working either.

    Any ideas thx.

Oh, do you mean the widgets don’t show up? Price shows up and seems to be working, so the problem is we don’t even see the others.

Also, go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools, run the following:

    1. WooCommerce transients – clear
    2. Expired transients – clear
    3. Product lookup tables – regenerate
    4. Term counts – recount
    5. Clear template cache – clear
    6. Update database – if not up to date (see status tab)
    7. Regenerate the product attributes lookup table (leave field empty for ALL products) – this is the most likely to succeed here, because when I visit https://svalinnart.com/artfair/?filter_colour=orange, the count is only 2, but 4 products are displayed.

If this doesn’t work, share the configuration of the attributes, the blocks and the products involved here (screenshots should be good). There is also custom URL structure for attributes, so share how this is set up.

Widgets??? I use block theme, hence, I don’t use widgets. I use blocks.

If I click red, I get red, blue, green, yellow, orange

If I click large, I get small, medium, large Xlarge

It says 2 items found and displays ALL

Anything I go to displays ALL PRODUCTS

Let me give your manual above a spin

I went through your 7 bullits above to no avail.

It appears your link is different than what I am directed to.

Green looks like this and thats all products. This is the link I am sent to:

    https://svalinnart.com/art-attribute/colour/green/?v=dd65ef9a5579

Your orange above seems to work showing only 4:

    https://svalinnart.com/artfair/?filter_colour=orange

How did you you get this link?

    Attributes Colour

    Cetegories Genres

As I understand the numbers in URLs are woo generated when geolocate is active and there is no way around it. I need to geolocate to present VAT EU per country as required by law.

I am using standard template for woo in the shop. I have endlessly tried to change the title of the “Shop” to “Art Fair”. This will not take effect.

I have tried to set square display and contain of products. This will not take effect. I have tried from customizer, template and also by using snippets. No effect.

I was informed that entering prices ex vat and checkout inclusive VAT has a conflict. That’s not acceptable. I have vendors from everywhere and one consistent rule must apply. Price ex VAT. Selling in EU price MUST present incl of VAT throughout the browsing experience also mini cart.

So yeah – Woo is a frustrating experience, since ownership of VAT compliance is not brought into core. This is not hard. It just needs to work.

Anyways: what else should I screen cap?

The URL I used is what WooCommerce produces when filtering products for an attribute with the slug “colour”. If you visit https://svalinnart.com/artfair/?filter_colour=green, you’ll only see a single product. It’s possible that your permalink structure is incorrect.

Try visiting Settings > Permalinks and re-saving the settings. Maybe this will help.

But honestly, it seems like you need the help of a developer. This forum doesn’t allow for any work in the admin area and I think there are multiple things that need to change on your site.

    Sorry.

I don’t understand where you are getting this URL from? Search for green or?

could you try to go to single product here, and then in additional info tab klik the Green attribute.

    https://svalinnart.com/product/non-believer/?v=dd65ef9a5579

You should see nothing filtered all products showing.

Links inside description text is also broken.

    (@hebhansen)

Where do I find the permalinks?

This URL is produced by filter blocks/widgets, which don’t appear on your shop pages.

What you shared above for the Colour attribute was the list of terms, but I wanted to see the attribute definition. Please share this.

Settings > Permalinks is in the admin menu. This is general WordPress, NOT WooCommerce.
