Woo Discount Rules Incompatibility issue

    Dear Support!

    We are experiencing with latest WordPress, WooCommerce and plugins, that WooCommerce Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts are not compatible in some cases with Woo Discount Rules.

    Case Description:

    • Our WooCommerce is configured, so that customers over 50 000 hungarian Forint order amount receive the shipping option at check-out: ?Free Shipping”
    • Our WooCommerce Payment Gateway Fees and Discounts plugin is configured in case of C.O.D. Payment Option to add an extra management fee of 530 hungarian Ft to the order, should the customer choose C.O.D. (Utánvét in hungarian) as payment option
    • The C.O.D. extra management fee is and should be always included, nevertheless the shipment is free or charged
    • We have set up a Woo Discount Rule (get 3 different product for at least 30 000 hungarian Ft as order amount and you will receive 40% total discount), but when the customer is setting up an order, which value reaches the minimum 50 000 HUF value of the Free shipping, the C.O.D. extra management fee is added wrongly to the order amount twice, altough it only should add once

    Please, let us know, should you need any extra info or temporary access to our site to investigate this issue. Right now, we have temporarely disabled this C.O.D. extra management fee for our discount period, but in the future, we surely need a solution for the mentioneed problem above.

    I could reproduce the double-fee error for Cash-on-Delivery payment, while Woo Discount Rules was disabled, and the problem still remains the same, just like mentioned in this previous Topic:

    As I cannot delete and leave the title blank, because of invoicing requirements, so I would need a hotfix on this problem as soon as possible!

    I’ve made an effort to duplicate the reported issue on my staging site, focusing on the scenario where payment gateway fees for Cash on Delivery (COD) are supposedly added twice to the Your Order table. However, in my attempts, I couldn’t replicate the issue. The COD payment gateway fees appear correctly, being added only once when set as either Percent or Fixed.

    It would be great if you could share the video of the issue that you are facing. This would enable us to reproduce the issue on our end and then I can get back to you with an update.
