Woo Commerce and Line Breaks in a Cell

Hi Woo and / or anyone.

Can someone please point me in direction on how to import/export from woo and what woo uses for line breaks/line feed etc. I have cells that have the below example.

Line 1 in a cell.
Line 2 in a cell.
Line 3 in a cell.

Each end of line has been made by ALt/Enter on mac in excel sheets. And all lines are in 1 cell.

Problem is when i import in, the lines breaks are ignored and the cell is all 1 line of text. If i correct these in WP editor, i can get them looking correct but then when i export they are all lost again. Ive tried many permutations including copy and pasting etc. I had 1 solution via copy/paste but it had a very strange effect in that after the first word it dropped down a line.! But i need to export amend and re import again.

What type of return/newline character do i need to use to maintain it for import and export.
