Won't use plug in audio player

    I downloaded and installed a plug in for mb mini audio player but when I import media to a page it does not use the plug in. Instead it uses a different player that must have come with the template. I am new to all of this. The new plug in is set to “active”. I am using a gorilla them called nightclub. Help?
