  • Hello,
some weeks ago i updated to WP 3.5 and image widget 4.0.1.
before doing the update everything was working fine! but after, when i was uploading an image (in .png) it was saving it with a black background – border..Also the drag and drop on the widgets did not work..and when i clicked on a widget to drag it and drop it, it moved at the end of the widgets dashboard becoming blurred…

Yesterday i updated on WP 3.5.1 and also the image widget on 4.0.2, and now when i click on Image widget at “change icon” it goes me to the widgtes page ( www…../wigdets.php…. its like refreshing the page) and nothing else. Also when i click on any other widget to drag and drop, it does nothing.

    Hey guys,

I tried this plugin with IE and it doesn’t work, as some say, after clicking the button to insert the image it just returns blank.

I found the problem, it’s a console.log( attachments ); statement inside resources/js/image-widget.js, just remove that line and it should work.

We removed the console.log function in today’s release of 4.0.4. Thanks!

No idea about animated gifs though.

I’m having issues uploading some images as well, all are jpeg and all are under 5mb. Some images get uploaded where as some don’t. I’m running 3.5.1, and haven’t had these issues on older versions. I get an http error.

I’ve tried for weeks to upload images from the media library. Nothing will work. I, like everyone else, have tried to deactivate all other widgets and install them all…nothing seems to work.
The images are sitting in my media library, though when i add an image widget, then click add image, nothing will show available in the media library…and when i try to upload an image, there’s always an error message.

    same here
    wp 3.5.2
    windows8
    firefox or chrome

    add media
    upload file
    select image
    click insert into post
goes back to edit post with no image there
had to paste previous gref and adjust for upload name and dimensions
