I just installed wordpress on yahoo (yesterday). I deactivated the wp-cache. However, when I make changes to the theme they don’t show on the blog. I found that the only way to get it to refresh the page is to edit a post. But that’s crazy to do after each little change.

Is there something else I need to remove?

    Thanks.

    Any ideas?

What exact changes are you making? Are they changes to template files or individual posts? Changes to your css? Please be more specific

Changing the header graphic or background. Adding or removing a sidebar information.

No css changes. The header, etc. will not update unless I edit a post.

I think it might be a theme coding problem? I don’t know what I’m talking about this but I installed a new theme and it updates all the changes.

I started with the default theme and tried Graphene. Neither updated changes to the theme (header, background, widgets, etc).

I installed Suffusion and even the tiniest change like the color is updated immediately.

    I was wrong again.

So, I found a “drop in” plug in called advanced-cache.php. I suspect that is the culprit. Yes?

I don’t see a way to remove it. Anyone know how? I’m not a html/css/coding wiz, so I need it is spelled out of me.:)

Or is it something I need and they problem lies elsewhere.
