Won't show in template page?

I am using a custom design theme for my wordpress website, but unfortunately, the shortcode for the CodePeople post map will not show in my webpage.
Am I missing something or is does this require a fix somehow?
Here’s the webpage where the shortcode is insert. The page is otherwise empty (still work-in-progress):
