wont send to outlook emails

Ok i find this to be so weird when someone ask a question i get the email notice saying someone asked a question. Then i go to the backend of my site approve the msg and reply back all that works fine. But if someone has an outlook email account it will not send an email back to them saying i posted on there comment. But if they have a google email address it send them the email saying there was a post to there comment. I dont get whats going on why will it work for gmail but not outlook.
