• Basically my mail wont send. After I hit send the load icon just spins and the page never does anything. Im using the latest wordpress & plugins as well as WP Mail SMTP which I sent a test email and it failed.

I inserted a code in my .htaccess file so that mob84.com will run php 5.5 (my hosting has us on php 7.1) and my email works with that fix.

Im not sure why but ideally id like to find the problem so that I can fix it instead of putting a band-aid on it. I have other sites hosted on my account running contact form 7 and they work fine I have checked my theme and plugins but the only thing that corrected it was changing my php version for that site.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’m using CF7 on many sites running php 7.1 or higher – I get dozens of emails every day from these sites.

The spinning arrow is a common sign of a JavaScript conflict from you theme or other plugins but can also be caused by an error in your SMTP setup. Something could have changed at your email hosting that you may not know about.

See If You Have Email Problems – most people that work carefully through this list of email sending issues are able to solve their particular problems.

unfortunately I have tried all of these and I have 2 sites on the same hosting account with the same exact setup (plugin and theme) and it seems to be one site giving me the issue which is why Im having such a hard time figuring it out.

I disabled all plugins put it to a default theme nothing changed the issue other than changing the specific site to php 5.5 Its racking my brain and even my host has no explanation as to why my mail refuses to send on php 7.1 they have looked at error logs and everything.
