On pages with short main post content, sticky widget won’t scroll down to the footer. It seems to work fine on pages with longer content (I can scroll down to footer and bottom of page fine), but on the short content pages, the screen flickers and scrolling stops right before reaching footer.

    Hi 20something,

thanks for reaching out. Did you set and margin options in the Fixed Widget settings?

Can I see the behavior somewhere?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Hi Thomas – thanks for the reply. Yes, here is an example of an impacted page (there are others): https://20somethingfinance.com/search-page/

I have “#site-footer” as the stop element and 10px for both the margin top and bottom. I’ve tried both the “improved version” box checked and unchecked and have had the same results either way.

    Thanks for the link.

Does the behavior persist when you use a static image in that position compared to this particular dynamic ad code?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Yes. I just tested that. Same behavior.

Update: the above issue was on desktop devices. The widget doesn’t seem to be working at all on mobile devices (the 300×600 ad flashes, but then disappears to white space).

    Hi 20something,

it looks like you disabled Fixed Widget on smaller screens using the FW options. I think that is a good move.

About flickering on desktop, please try the changed version I just uploaded here and let me know if it behaves better.

    Thanks,
    Thomas
