• Version 2.7.1. I can not save my newsletter. I can duplicate last week newsletter, but it will not save my new edited version. I do get a message of “Saving Newsletter”, but no confirmation message. And after a refresh or reload, it reverts to the original version. I tried creating a new Newsletter. It shows in the list, but will not save the revision either. I have tried on 2 different computers.
    It worked great last week.

  • I am having the same problem.

This is most likely related to this: https://support.mailpoet.com/error-403-on-admin-ajax-php/

I just talked with my host provider. They said nothing is blocking the plugin. I am not sure where to go from here except revert to an early version. any other suggestions?

I may have to find another email plugin that works. I have an newsletter that goes out tonight.

I was having the same problem, and discovered that something, presumably an upgrade, deleted several of my database tables. I am running a multi-site installation, but with only one child site at the moment. Uninstalling and reinstalling Mailpoet did *NOT* re-create the tables. I did not have a reinstall option in advanced options. Finally, in desperation, I went to the master site, and activated Mailpoet and, lo and behold, it created all of the tables–but, of course, as master site tables. I renamed all of them to add the _2, and now it works in the child site.

I have exactly the same problem on 2 sites.

    One on a dedicated server.
I put the htaccess code and ask my dev to OFF the mod security… but it was never activated.
    So is not this problem.

Another on a client site on a share site on OVH.
Same think, impossible to change anything.

I send 2 other emails to the MailPoet dev team and received any answers.
For a paid plugin, I am disapointing.

    We must send those newsletters!
Hope MP will find a solution today.

I am really mad because since one week is it not possible to create or duplicate newsletters from all sites we manage for our clients.

And no answer and solutions from MailPoet.

It is a major bug and really don’t understand why they are doing nothing to fix this!

    Please help!

This was my solution. I realized had several plugins that quit working at the same time. Therefore I knew that it was not a MailPoet problem. The easy way to diagnose is,
    1. From an IE browser, goto to the page that has the problem
    2. Hit F12 button
    3. Click on Console tab
    4. Navigate the page as you normally do
    5. If there is an error, it shows in the Console tab.
    6. My error was a 403 Forbidden. The filename was ‘wp-admin/admin-ajax.php’
    7. The problem is the permission was set to ’00’, change back to ‘644’. You may need to have your host provider change this for you. I was able to see all the files through my FTP client.

A lot of plugins uses this ajax-admin.php file. Server OS updates and WP plugins will change this. I did call my host provider, and they changed it in about 2 seconds!

    My entire was again operational!

Thanks but this file is already in 644 permission.

I down upgrade to previous version but nothing change! ??

It seems that if you updgrade your serveur to PHP 5.6 it works.
    On OVH shares it works.
On our dedicated server, I a waiting the upgrade of our team dev to see if it works too.
