For many years I have been using User Meta Pro on one site, and User Meta Lite on another site. Both sites use different themes and different other plugins (other than both use Wordfence).

Just recently (I’m not exactly sure when – might be when I updated to WP Version 5.4) on both sites, after logging in, the page doesn’t refresh the way it used to.

On the Pro: I use the user-meta widget to login. After entering the correct username and pass, the login-widget doesn’t refresh to be the logged-in version after successfully logging in, and I don’t see an admin toolbar. (But if I go to another page, then I do see the admin toolbar).

On the lite version: I use user-meta shortcode [user-meta-login] on a page. After logging in through that page, the page does not display the message that it used to (which I specify under usermeta>settings>”Logged in user profile settings”).

I haven’t changed any settings, I only realized this after logging in to update WP and various plugins. I’m guessing it has something to do with how User Meta interacts with login_redirect.

Thanks in advance for helping to troubleshoot this.

    Hello,

It might be a plugin conflict issue.
Please update User Meta Lite or User Meta Pro to the latest version.
If that does not solve your problem, please contact at support(at)user-meta.com preferably with temp admin credentials (if possible) so the issue can be checked based on your setup.

    Thanks.

As there is no feedback yet, it is assumed the issue is solved and marking this as resolved.
