Won’t position – and the width shrinks

    Hi,

    I’m using the premium version. But it won’t let me position the tooltip (left, right, bottom, top etc.) and the width shrinks a bit ridiculously after a moment or so.

    You can test the effect at the bottom of my page (footer). The line under the search box says ‘How to search for Trails&Tours Facebook posts… ‘ and has a tooltip.

    One more thing: This faulty effect doesn’t occur when I’m logged in as the admin. I don’t know whether that is relevant.

    Some more info.

    The issue seems cache-related:

    a) It doesn’t show up when I’m logged in as the admin and the admin gets uncached pages.
    b) But the error DOES occur when the admin gets cached pages.
    c) And yet: switching off the cache entirely doesn’t solve the problem.

    The cache is managed by WP Optimize. But I believe there is some simple caching mechanism in WP core as well, right?

    Hi,
    I’m checking the problem
    From what I see the width calculation is wrong, but there is no reason for that
    Can you please tell me what you have set as setting for the “Tooltip width” in the plugin options ? (default value = 150px)

    I am using the default value. But switching to other values doesn’t change the phenomenon. The set width appears initially, and is then quickly lost.

    I had to update the scripts, because it was parsing 2 times the same tooltip
    may be due to a cache issue, as you said

    this will be integrated into the coming next version
