    Hi,
I just downloaded and installed the plugin and I am trying to create a slide with just plain text. When I put the text in it changes my text to “Only in full version”
Have I missed something? Is there any reason why I need to pay for the full version when all I want to do is add text to the slider?
    Please help!!
    Thank you.
    David

    Hi David!

You should use the “Heading” item, which is available for the trial version, because I’m guessing you are trying to use the Paragraph item, which is only available in the full, but it’s basically the same. You can see the word “Full” next to those items, and other parts in the backend, which aren’t in the trial version.

    Hi,
I tried what you said and this is what happens: https://sheppadviser.com.au/adviser-web-wedding-celebrant/?page_id=320

It does not show the text at all and the left arrow does not show????

If I can get this to work well it will be exactly what I want and would suggest it to many people. Please help me to get this working correctly.
    Thank you.
    David.

I can’t see our slider there, so if this is a live website, and you can’t leave it there, please send me an export of that slider to [email protected]

What I can think, which could cause this is, that the layers and widgets have options on what screen size to show up, and you might be putting down the layers in a different view: https://youtu.be/7H7Ldffyu6E?t=3m29s
and the arrows, at the Edit Slider -> Widget – Arrows -> Display: https://www.nextendweb.com/wiki/smart-slider-documentation/responsive-mode/#widgets
you should turn them on for every view.
