Won't import everything

    I’ve exported all my content cause I was changing providers, I’ve reauploaded everything to my new server but when I go to tools-import and upload the file I downloaded when i was on the old provider it won’t upload everything.

    All Posts are missing
    All pages are missing
    most of the media is missing

    only categories are right.

    what can I do?

  • It is very probable that you have too much content to import.
    This plugin works well just when you have small number of posts and no media, because of the limits that shared hosting providers put to your account.
    If you can, try to increase maximum execution time for a script. Also, increase the allowed memory (PHP 5.6 with, no WP plugins needed 156MB for my setup).

    The way to mitigate the problem is reimporting the same file. It should skip imported parts.
