Hello again, I see this is happening with a few users. A little more information on what is happening with me.

    WordPress 3.7.1
    Mailchimp 1.4.1

When the pop up comes up to connect my account–I enter my username and password, the pop-up closes and nothing happens. I have tried on both Chrome and Safari, and have cleared by cookies & cache to both as well.

It was working prior to yesterday, I went in to edit my subscribe form but it wasn’t responding so I logged out of my account and tried to log back in immediately afterwards and now this keeps happening.

    Hey jsa325,

Can you possibly provide us with a few more details? You mentioned things were working previously. How long ago did you initially set up that plugin before the recent log-out then log-in attempt? Can you mention what hosting provider you’re using? We definitely want to get to the bottom of things and any additional information may help us out.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

I just downloaded the MailChimp plugin, and I am trying to connect it to my account without success. I keep getting the following pop-up message:

    error!

POST to https://preclaboratories.com/index.php?mcsf_action=authorized&salt=e451ec0776f2e7a50ce874f3298dfa38&user_id=1 failed: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

    What do I do?

    Thanks,

    Kami

    Hi there Kami,

Thanks for posting. It looks like the issue you’re experiencing may be unrelated to the original poster’s issue, and seems to be related to the SSL certificate for your website.

First I would recommend looking into the status of the SSL cert for your site, to make sure that the certification chain is accurate and complete. Then I would recommend attempting to reconnect the plugin after assuring that all of the SSL certificates are complete and accurate. It is possible that error was due to a temporary issue with pulling the SSL cert, for example.

If you continue to see this error or any other error, would you mind starting a new thread separate from this one so we can address your specific concerns in a unique forum thread.

    Thanks!

    -Kath
