Won’t Block Out Days

I have to block off two days when we won’t be offering services. I don’t want to change all my connections so I just tried to create a new connection for the same service, location, worker with the specific dates and I set the “Is Working” to “No”. It did not block off the available times and still showed availability because of the other connection that shows availability for those times until 2021.
EX: Location/Service/Worker is Monday 9-5 from 1/1/2020 – 1/1/2021 for one slot. I cloned the connection but set the dates to 7/21/2020 – 7/22/2020 and have the “Is Working” set to “No”. I was still able to book times. (currently showing as blocked because I manually scheduled appointments so it would stop showing availability but I know that’s not how it should be)
How can I achieve this?
