When I try to back up the WP-config.php file, a “Page not found” page opens on my website. I’ve checked that all WP directories and file permissions show green. Not sure where the issue is and how to resolve. Thanks, Valerie

Hi, can you check on your server to make sure the following file wp-config.php exist and you have file permissions to create a backup.

Can you also check the server log files and also the plugin log files.

    Thank you

Hi, Yes the wp-config.php file shows on the Filesystem Security tab and permissions are set to 644.

    Thanks

Hi, can you try the following. Disable all of your other plugins except this one, then carry out another backup. Let me know what happens. Can you also check the plugin log files under Dashboard -> AIOWPS Logs?

    Thank you

    Hi,

I disabled the other plugins and tried again, but unfortunately it still didn’t create a backup. (Once again went to a “page not found” on my site.) Plugin files under AIOWPS login say “Log file is empty!” for security log and chron job log.

    Thanks

Hi. There are no errors relating to wp-config.php or AIOWSP in the error logs. Have had no problem backing up the .htaccess and database, just the wp-config.php, but I don’t want to configure the plugin without this backup. I think it may have to do with my theme for some reason. Another option would be for me to make a manual backup and move on? I do have full site backup via another plugin. Thanks

Hi, if you feel it has to do with your theme why don’t you speak to the theme developers?

I might have to, as AIOWPS works great with every other of my sites and plugins don’t appear to be the issue. Thanks for trying to help.
