Wonderful statistics plugin

  • I have been using the plugin for a few months now on all my wordpress sites and I am really happy with it.

    I had just one issue to get it up and working:

    • I had to install Browscap myself, because the installation script was not working. I am not entirely sure what did I fix.

    On the positive side:

    • It is addictive. I find myself checking my stats more often than my monetization
    • Provides a great overview about the usage and popularity of your page
    • Provides a nice shortcode functionality to be inserted wherever you want. I am using it to display my top 5 posts
    • I like to Geolocation view, where you see a world map with all your views

    In the future I have set a task to myself to explore the following parts of the plugin in greater detail:

    • Audicene reports to see how my readers behave on the pages
    • Fine tuning of the settings. There are a lot of them
