• I just installed WP 3.0 (manual installation over 2.84). Everything worked fine until I started to re-enable my plug-ins and got to WordPress.com stats. I enable the stats plug-in and received a message that WordPress.com needs my API key or I should disable the plug-in. When I try to clip the WordPress.com hyperlink in that message or go to the plug-in admin page to disable it, I am taken to a page that reads:

Error 500 – Internal server error
An internal server error has occured!
    Please try again later.

I have no way to disable the plug-in. I’ve got the API key but I can’t get to the page to insert it.

    What can I do?

    Thanks

    John

Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for anything useful. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.
