WLW connecting to WP3.1 XML-RPC Service

  • I’ve already set up a test blog https://newteam.org/blog by installing WP 3.1 using a Fantastico script via the control panel on my own domain.
    Everything works great.

    I intend to use Windows Live Writer 2011 which I downloaded.
    It almost connects but comes up with the following error:
    “Can’t connect to your blog service:
    Problem with blog server – Server Error 405 Occurred
    XML-RPC services are disabled on this site. An admin user can enable them at
    https://newteam.org/blog/wp-admin/options-writing.php
    Please try fixing the problem and then try again.”
    I checked the php file in an editor, but don’t know how to enable the service.
