Wix to WordPress

Hi Guys

I have a website that I built with wix.

Now, I already started to build a wordpress website and I would like to move all the content (Blog, articles, photos etc…) from my wix site to my wordpress site.

Obviously, after all of it will be completed the wordpress site going to be under the domain of where my wix site now, and wix site will no longer be in use.

Anyhow, can I do that? is that ok to move content from one cms to another? I don’t want to be penalize by the search engines.
What is the best way to do it?
