Without Pro 200$ plan not DSGVO compliant!

    I point out to everyone that anyone who uses this plugin / captcha violates DSGVO, unless he has the Pro Plan for 200$!

    Because the IP is sent in all other plans that are under the 200$, in the world to other servers outside the EU. So it is also extra in the documentation!

    Unfortunately, the plugin is therefore not described correctly here, because in the description is not explicitly pointed out that the IP is sent outside the EU. Unless from Pro Plan 200$

    Please read the documentation!

    The plugin or the captcha would be otherwise of course the top alternative to Google or hcaptcha. But so unfortunately within the Eu for small bloggers or small businesses not to use.

    It’s a pity that you turn here only to big players.

    (Edit, I’m changing the one star to 3 stars because the company responds very quickly and very well to reviews and comments and the tool itself is unique).

    You can rest assured that Friendly Captcha one-way-hashes the IP address of end users right after we receive it in order to anonymize them with every plan, including our Free and Basic Plans. This means that Friendly Captcha is a GDPR compliant solution.

    The difference between the Basic and Professional Plans is indeed the EU Endpoint capability as this is a feature that larger companies need that don’t want to be affiliated with US companies at all.

    Hi, it’s good to hear from you. I find that very good.

    Whether it is nevertheless GDPR compliant, is unfortunately nevertheless to doubt, because it is not legally clarified nevertheless, because the IP is nevertheless sent outside the EU. See eb. new judgment from Austria regarding google anlaytics.

    It is to be assumed that it is similar here. Because either way, the consumer within the EU would have to give his consent that his IP is sent to a non-EU country. Therefore, the anonymization does not matter, because according to the GDPR, this is exactly what must not happen. So if you have to get consent from the user first as an EU company, they are unlikely to agree to it.

    I am with this tool on very firmly convinced, with other handling, many users would take and use. Because as mentioned, according to my research is the best counter tool of recaptcha and Co.

    I am also firmly convinced that even smaller prices e.g. 5€ upwards would bring an enormous amount of users. We are active in the web segment and in our experience there is no customer who would not pay a few euros for more transparency, security and privacy.

    I think here a new price / server concept would be unique.
