• After updating to 6.0.13.1, events cannot be edited anymore. Editor does not show any options or reports that the blocks are broken. The removal of code as stated in the history obviously did not work or was not quality-checked.

Support is unwilling to help. Overall… not recommend.

    Hi @akxak ,

Sorry to hear about the breakage on your site. My guess is it had to do with the recent WordPress 6.2.1 release, specifically:

Block themes parsing shortcodes in user generated data

This was then – at least partially – fixed in WordPress 6.2.2. Updating WordPress should fix the issue.

Apart from this temporary glitch coming from WordPress how are you enjoying The Events Calendar? Does your rating reflect your overall experience as well? I would be curious to hear more!

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

The issue persists with WordPress 6.2.2 and remains unsolved.

The power of a plugin beside its features comes with the support when there are issues. Support was not taking up the issue at all (and we’re not talking about a glitch but about a broken and unuseable plugin and that’s what it is when you cannot edit or add any event anymore). The response to such an issue was and is bad and my rating reflects this.

What did you guys change because 6.0.13 does not show this effect.

Thank you for your reply @akxak .

Based on www.remarpro.com forum guidelines we are not allowed to provide support here, in the reviews section, so I would recommend following up with your issue in the thread you opened. Our support team responded to your initial question within a day, and we’re waiting for your response. We’re happy to continue the conversation there.

    Best,
    Andras
