    Same for me. Had to deactivate the plugin via FTP, because otherwise I could no longer access my backend. Right now I’m in the process of manually rebuilding all the customizations I had made with the plugin. Not exactly what I had planned for today.

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Would you please indicate which theme you are using and your WordPress and PHP versions? Have you turned on the WordPress debug mode?

    Do you see an error message? Can you check your browser console to see if there are any errors? If so, please copy and paste them into a message below.

    To open the developer console in Google Chrome, open the Chrome Menu in the upper-right-hand corner of the browser window and select More Tools > Developer Tools. You can also use Option + ? + J (on macOS), or Shift + CTRL + J (on Windows/Linux).

    We’ve identified an issue with PHP 8 (I’m not sure if this is the cause of your issue). We’ll fix this as soon as possible. Please note that WordPress 6.1, to be released in a few hours, might fix compatibility issues.

    We’ve just released Twentig 1.5.1, which fixes PHP errors inside the back end. Please let me know if you still encounter any issues.

    Thanks.

    Thomas,

    Thank you for the info. I’m seeing the error on your website. To be clear, do you currently have WordPress 6.1 or WordPress 6.0? And is Twentig 1.5.1 currently active on your website?

    Thread Starter Thomas

    (@thofied)

    I have WP 6.1 and twentig is the newest (1.5.1)… this Error message comming direct after activate twentig in Dasbord -> plugins

    (@collet)

    I can’t reproduce this issue on my side with the same parameters as yours. As we can’t access your admin dashboard (www.remarpro.com strictly forbids it), it’s difficult for me to find the cause of the issue.

    To rule out any plugin conflict, please try to temporarily deactivate all of your plugins except Twentig to see if this solves the issue.

    If possible, please turn on the WordPress debug mode by editing the wp-config.php file so that I can see if it prints more detailed error message. Replace define( 'WP_DEBUG', false ); by define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

    (more details here)

    Debug Mode is on now … the plugin have complete deactivated since yesterday. On the test for ~2hours have only twentig activated.

    In the config ph was only the option to ativate the mode … its needed that i create a logfile now, or is this on a default place?

    EDIT: I have look in the code on the Site … when the site show without twentig is now complete chaos (i have write before) i have now seed thats only on site that have “tw-shadow” inside! Other site, that use the same theme show korrekt.

    This sites use the same theme (btw. its Multiside, i have not say before .. sorry)
    https://patientenstimme-sma.de (chaos)
    https://little-pinnwand.net/ (normal)

    EDIT 2 … thats crazy. Now after activate the Debug show the Site correct. (twentig and all plugins are deactivated)

    On the patientenstimme-sma.de website, please try to activate Twentig 1.5.1 (without any other plugin) with debug mode still on.

    Thread Starter Thomas

    (@thofied)

    Ok, i have the file …. the “chrash” was the same. Activate -> white site with critical error

    can i send the file or copy here in the forum?

    (thats was short after activate twentig)

    and this was before activated:
    [02-Nov-2022 14:12:21 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: array_splice(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, bool given in /www/htdocs/w0183b0b/smartunity.pro/wp-content/plugins/twentig/inc/classic/twentytwentyone/block-editor.php:317

    Thanks for the logs, it’s helpful. To be sure that this line is the only one causing the issue, if you’re familiar with editing php file, could you please try to edit the wp-content/plugins/twentig/inc/twentytwentytwo.php and line 65 replace

    add_filter( 'wp_theme_json_data_theme', 'twentig_twentytwo_filter_theme_json_theme' );

    by

    //add_filter( 'wp_theme_json_data_theme', 'twentig_twentytwo_filter_theme_json_theme' );

    Then try to reactivate the Twentig plugin to see if the issue disappears.

    Thread Starter Thomas

    (@thofied)

    Ok twentig starting now, the site-chaos is the same

    what can it be thats show correct, when start the debug mode ….. have your here a tip?
