• I downloaded and installed the latest version of the Fast Secure Contact Form (Version 4.0.18), put together a quick form, and tested it. Everything worked great – I received my test email for a contact, the form and captcha worked.
But I was unable to login to my admin dashboard the next day. I got the following error: “ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.” Browser setting were fine.
I renamed/moved my plugins directory and was able to log in, re-named the plugins directory back to its appropriate name and disabled all plugins through the dashboard. Through the process of elimination I discovered that it was only the SI-contact-form that was the culprit.
Through further investigation this is what I now know:
If I disable the PHP Session option on the Advance tab I can log in to the dashboard but the form does not work (the captcha is incorrect and must be re-entered..) PHP Session enable, everything works but I can not log in.
I am using the Travelify theme. I switched themes (to Twenty Fourteen) and I COULD log in to the dashboard. Switch back to Travelify and I could not.
I found no specific debugging info to help me. This is my first attempt to host a WordPress Site so I am new to WordPress. I am hosting on an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server, and I have the site root permissions locked down (directory 755 and files 644) Ownership of mosts files and folders belong to a none-admin user and everything belongs to the apache user’s group.

Sorry if this is too much info, but I am trying to lay out all the facts. Any help would be appreciated. I like the plugin and would like to give it a fair shot.
    -Thanks

  • Hi hamanidaba, sounds like you have an issue with your theme and not the plugin. This is verified by your comment below.

I am using the Travelify theme. I switched themes (to Twenty Fourteen) and I COULD log in to the dashboard. Switch back to Travelify and I could not.

I would suggest you contact your theme developers and let them know about this issue.

    You also mentioned the following

“ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.” Browser setting were fine.

What browser are you using? Have you allowed cookies support on your browser?

    Kind regards

Hi hamanidaba, have you being able to resolve your issue?
