With Front Doesn't Work?

From what I can find with searching around, the with_front is related to having “/blog/” prepended to urls.

So it’s not related to the post type slug being in the url as well.

This actually isn’t a customization that we have in our plugin, so you may need to google around for a solution. I’m hoping this one works out for you though https://colorlabsproject.com/tutorials/remove-slugs-custom-post-type-url/

Ok Thanks For The Reply. Just curious… If i have With Front set to true, the permalink doesn’t change either way. Is there a better description of what this setting does?

Also, does the rewrite option have anything to do with this?

From the links I posted earlier, it’s specific to “/blog/” which is something that got inherited from WordPress MU before it was merged into WordPress core. Thus it’s not going to have any effect on post type slugs in the permalink.

Rewrite would have to do with how the post type slugs appear as in the urls, and trying to set it to an empty string won’t have the effect you’re looking for, as it would just default to the post type slug. Check the last link I provided above, which as some code examples outlining one of the ways to remove them from the permalinks.
