wishlist: shortcode filter option

    Looking for a file management plugin that allows to place a file list of a given directory that can be filtered by create / upload date.

    Purpose: doctor’s patient file which has a consultation date history and needs downloadable patient documents attributed to each consultation date (hence the date filter).
    Dates are represented by a custom post type in an 1:n relationship to the patient. In a view loop for those date CPTs I need to place the file list shortcode that has the date filter.
    Nesting of the shortcode in order to include the given date of the CPT would be mandatory.

    Hi,

    This is certainly not feasible using the existing version of Simple File List. It can sort files by date added or modified, but all of the files are in the same directory and would be visible to everyone.

    Also, there is no existing interface with WordPress posts.

    The paid version might work to accomplish the overall task you need, but not technically the way you describe. Unfortunately I am not allowed to elaborate here, so please contact me via the website and I can go into more detail.
