wishlist plugin – cross publishing

    I’d love a plugin that would allow me to cross publish my posts from specific categories into other blogs on blogger, livejournal, or other WP blogs.

    My personal blog ( https://www.elainevigneault.com ) has a number of categories, some of which could/should be their own blogs. A plugin like I described would be excellent for something like that.

    Another idea for WP blogs with multiple users – a plugin that lets users post to the group blog AND to their own blog at the same time.

    I understand third party blogging tool would probably work for this, but these plugins would be cool, too ??

  • Um, last time I checked there were plugins for Blogger and LJ. I’ll go find them.

    I just use a third party program like you mention though.

    Looks like the cross posting plugins I’d want aren’t compatible with WP 2.1 and/or require hacking.

    What I’m specifically looking for is a plugin that automatically cross posts only certain categories, not all posts. But it’s really not that big of an issue. And I think this discussion belongs in the Ideas forum area anyway, so I’m going to mark this as resolved.
