Wishlist button doesn't show up

We installed your Wishlist free plugin and followed the short installation guide but the Wishlist button doesn’t show up. Using the short code instead, the plugin returns a modal error message.We use WPML and a Yootheme template. What are we doing wrong? Thank you.
