Wishlist broken on Page Cache

    I am really amazed that LiteSpeed Cache Plugin is the first plugin (from all other ones that I’ve used) that does not break the “Cart” of Woo on page load when page cache is active. The other plugins that I used when page cache is Active, the “Cart” breaks on page cache or even worse, the page cache does not function at all when there are products in cart.

    But the problem I have now is with the Wishlist element that I use from BricksUltimate addon (BU Wishlist Element), which breaks on page reload when page cache is active. The only “solution” is to exclude the cookie of the Wishlist element, but that causes the page cache to not even work anymore (same problem that I had with the “Cart” with other plugins).

    It would be great to make the same fix for the Wishlist Element, same as you have done it with the “Woo Cart”. Or at least to share a proper solution that we can use to fix this.

    what exactly do you mean by break in this context ?

    like wishlist page doesn’t show the newly added items as functionally break? or the wishlist page doesn’t render , mess up , show blank …etc that kind of visually break ?

    Not the wishlist page, because I’ve excluded the Wishlist page from page cache.

    You can reproduce the problem if you scroll down on Homepage to the products section and press the Heart icon on the right top of product image to add the product to the wishlist. You can see that the Wishlist counter in the header is counting (1) product. Then go to some other page ex. click on any product page and go back to Homepage again. Now the wishlist counter is broken (back to 0).

    please go to Cache -> Advanced -> Vary cookies, add bu_wishlist_product_0 , save and purge all

    Now it is much better. When I add a product to wishlist and go back to Homepage, the page cache does not work only in the first hit (while with the “Cart” it works perfectly even when you add products to cart). After that first hit, the page cache works great and the wishlist is not broken.
