Wish to import data from excel file to Custom post Type & its fields

I wish to import lot of data from excel sheet, and i need to update repeatedly once in a week,if i put manually it will really take lot of time, is there any method so that i can import data from excel sheet to each fields of my custom post.
So is it possible by any method to import data easily, and it also update in my database easily.
