    Hi Modern Tribe team,

I’ve recently been asked about improvement ideas for Gigpress – which is hands-down the best concert / artist listing plugin around. Still! I’ve been using it for over 10 years.

    • Directly displaying an external GP calendar on another website
    • Support for merged display of multiple external calendars
i.e. if the artist has their own concert calendar, and the management or agency want to show all of their artists’ concerts in one calendar on their own site without manually recreating the lists or importing on a regular basis
    • Ability to edit the country list
without it being overwritten with each update
    • responsive table
    • shortcode in “notes” field
    • Backend venue list display UX improvements (i.e. search field, alphabetical filter etc.)

I love the fact that GP comes unstyled and therefore very customisable by the user.
However, there might be an argument for opening up some preset CSSs and template files. I’d be happy to contribute…

    Hi @nadworks,

My apologies first of all for the slow response.

Simplicity is one of the reasons GigPress has remained a favourite of many users, but we’re certainly not closed to new features and improvements. If you want to get involved and help drive those along, please consider submitting one or more pull requests – the team will then be happy to review:

    github.com/moderntribe/gigpress

    Thanks!

I second those suggestions and would love to have templates.
I’ve never gotten gigpress to desplay zip code, even tho the wizard has a place for it.
I was using it with a custom theme and now DIVI, still no zipcode.
So you can add that to the request list.

    Thanks for those notes, @biancaseda.

Please do also review these docs about custom templates in case the functionality you are seeking already exists ??

    Hey there,

Since this thread has been inactive for a while, I’m going to go ahead and mark it as resolved. Don’t hesitate to create a new thread any time you help again!

    Ed ??
