    For 6 years this plugin limited clients to two units of my sample size product to prevent a loss leader from turning into a plain old loss. Just updated it today and several hours later someone ordered 12 units. Had to cancel the order, which means they probably won’t be back because they’ll be offended. I knew I should have left it alone…

    You could have open a support ticket so we can look into the issue.

    No major changes were made to the way the plugin limits the quantity both on the input field as on the cart, so this is probably something very specific to your case.

    Have you make sure you immediately re-activated the plugin after update?

    As mentioned on the changelog for version 2.0: “the plugin will deactivate on update, and should be manually activated again“. The only reason I can think of for what you mentioned to happen, is that the plugin was not active when the 12 units order was placed.

    Have you activated the plugin again and tried to buy more than 2 units? If yes and it still doesn’t work, what can we do to help identify the problem? Also, you can downgrade to 1.6 (but make sure the plugin is activated after downgrading). If no, can you please try it and get back to us?
