Wipe Settings Not Working

    Your plugin stopped working after running fine for a year and runs fine 2 other sites I manage. Yet I cannot figure out why it is not working. I even asked the host for the error log and they said there are no errors reported in the log.

    I am trying to Wipe Setting and that is not even working. After completing with no errors the settings are still there even after refreshing the page.

    I want to wipe the settings and delete the plugin. This means I want all database information like the tables related to updraft-plus deleted.

    Then I will try a fresh install of the app and see if that works.

    So how do I wipe the settings and have it work?
    Next, how do I delete the app so that it deletes all residual database information too?

    Note that some web browsers, if you refresh the page, will remember what you had entered in forms. To truly refresh, you need to close the tab, and open a new one (not just use the reload button).

    Yes I tried that. I also deleted the plug-in and reinstalled and the settings were still there.

    @opensideproject Do you have any cache plugin installed, If yes Can you purge all the cache including Object cache?

    No, I don’t have a cache plugin. I don’t need this troubleshot anymore. I was trying this to delete it to reinstall fresh. What I did instead was restore from a backup.

    My real issue is backups are failing. So I wanted to restore to a previous version that worked and see if that was the problem.

    Please archive this thread as I have a thread already for the backup failures.
