Windows Hosting, IXWebHosting

  • Hey!

    I’m trying to install WordPress on a Windows hosting package by the host IX Web Hosting. After wrestling with their tech support for a bit this morning I got some issues fixed, but not the major one.

    All my .php files are showing up as blank pages. Nothing on them at all. The tech support people said that because it’s a Windows hosted site they can’t tell what exactly the error is.

    I gave them the WP specs and everything is installed right but not Apache or mod_rewrite. So, I’m assuming that WP can’t be installed on this server?

    They tech support person kept telling me that it were errors in the WP files, and that is why it was blank, but as I was chatting with her I uploaded it to another one of my domains on another server and it works 100% perfectly.

    Any help? Or do I just need to suggest Linux hosting to the person who will be using the WP install?
