• Hello everyone ??

I decided to post here cause I have a somewhat similar problem.

I am not getting the error stated above. I’m getting this:

“Could not locate the file: https://www.x-reality.com/mp3s/myWimpy.html as specified in the variable $wimpyHTML within the block-Wimpy.php, Check to make sure you have created and uploaded a custom HTML file using the Customizer tool at wimpyplayer.com and uploaded it to your wimpy folder on your site.”

    I’ve followed all the directions.
-Yes, I do have the “myWimpy.html (if you click on the link above, it will pull it up)
    -Ive tried editing the path:
    $wimpyHTML = “https://www.x-reality.com/mp3s/myWimpy.html”
    or
    $wimpyHTML = “/mp3s/myWimpy.html”
    or
    $wimpyHTML = “../mp3s/myWimpy.html”

All of the paths work but It still donest pull up the player on my website.

-Yes, the plugin is activated as well.

Can some please help me and show me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you very much

    My website = https://www.x-reality.com

    Anyone? ??

    I’m having the same problem.

The link works, the player works, but it doesn’t show up on the page, instead I’m also getting the message above.

Lengthy discussion with Mike (the developer) resulted in him telling me, that my server was probably configure wrong. But I have set up Wimpy on another clients page wich is hosted on the same server and it works there. So I’m not a complete idiot. Just on my page/installation there seems to be something weird.

    Anyone?

I am having a similar problem. Wimpy works in a directory but not in the root of the server. The file I need to embed it in, is in the root directory. How do you overcome this? Anyone know?
    Thanks,
    Roc

    Also the same here.

Same error. Player works fine if accessed thru https://ubik-ac.com/mp3s/myWimpy.html but when accessed thru <?php makeWimpyPlayer() ?> I always get the same error as you. Have tried everything, relative paths, absoulte ones… no way ??
